Greetings, I have a piece of hardware that plugs into a USB port. Windows 7 automatically recognizes it as 'Unknown Device' but installs the drivers for it as if it wasn't an unknown device. There are no yellow marks next to it in Device Manager. I have tried uninstalling the driver and installing the supplied driver but Windows says that it already has the best driver installed.
