Yup, ran all new speaker wire from the amp, under the carpet, to the door thresholds and to the door/back side panels. And, yes, ran rcas from the HU, underneath the center console collar (w/ the 12v outlets), underneath the shifter console and poked it out underneath the seat. Yes, one of the most noticeable mods done to my truck. Road noise got cut way down. I don't have to crank the volume as much. I'm not big on subs.

Although, the sound deadener i got wouldn't adhere at all so I was contemplating on either 1. Forgetting about it and sending it back or 2. Making my own adhesive and putting another hour into after work.we shall see!

WTH, moved to VT from VA?! VA has some fantastic seasons but I'm sure VT does just as well. Nice taste in speakers! One of the things that might make it stick better is to either: 1. Take off the vapor barrier and stick it directly to the metal after cleaning it with alcohol. Clean the vapor barrier with rubbing alcohol (if you didn't do that already).

Also, we applied some damping material behind the rear speakers. It is a large unbraced panel. If you have the high frequency stuff (foam fabric) apply a 6' square bit behind the directly behind the door speakers. It'll help clean up the midrange by quelling reflections off the back side of the cone. Oh, I miss building speakers and amps.
